Why we do this
Running and maintaining a free directory of thousands of real Houston auto repair listings has real costs. Affiliate commissions are one way we support that work without charging drivers to search for a mechanic or charging every shop to be listed.
How we choose what to recommend
We aim to recommend tools, equipment, and services that are genuinely useful to Houston drivers, mechanics, and shop owners. We do not fabricate reviews, ratings, prices, or claims about any product or service. Where we haven’t independently verified a specific claim, we don’t make it. Being an affiliate for a company does not mean we have used every product personally — where that’s the case, recommendations are based on the product’s real, publicly available specifications and information rather than a first-hand review presented as one.
